Introduction of CCTV in Perivale Station Car Park
Dear sir/madam,
I am writing on behalf of the businesses (and their customers) that operate along Bideford Avenue such as Nai Lounge, Yasmine Cafe, Arabesque, etc. as well as local mechanics.
The subject of this matter is in regards to the safety of the individual, group and collective public of the area that use the car park (Perivale Station) either during or after operation times.
We are raising this issue as multiple vehicles are being broken into and being robbed consistently due to no security measures. As of this week, four separate occasions have been reported to Nai Lounge alone regarding the breaking of a customers vehicle. It’s needless to say that each victim of these incidents is paying out costs on repairs as well as losing personal items that affect their day to day life. Our customers no longer feel safe to park nearby - and in some cases, visit - due to constant theft and lack of action.
The lack of enforcement and security has left a negative effect on the local area and we plead that the council acts swiftly to install security measures.
We hope this issue can be resolved quickly and we are willing to do what it takes to help the council moving forward.
Yours sincerely,
Nai Lounge,
Management team
